I’ve just released Urbaneel 1.16 — available now on App Store and Google Play. Live tracking answers where is my bus right now. This update answers the question riders ask just as often: when does it actually run?
Full Bus Timetables, Hour by Hour
Every route card now has a calendar icon, and it opens the complete bus timetable for that route at that stop — not just the next few buses, but the printed-timetable view: every departure laid out hour by hour, with a tab for each day of the week.
Today is marked, the next departure is highlighted, and a “Now” line sits exactly where you are in the day. Need a different stop along the route? Switch it right from the timetable, without going back to the map.
Timetables come from the operators’ own schedules — EMEL in Limassol, and the city operators in Nicosia, Larnaca, Paphos and Ayia Napa — in Cyprus local time, so the board reads the same whether you’re standing at the stop or planning a trip from abroad.
One detail I care about: when a day is empty, the app tells you why. “This route doesn’t run today” and “the operator hasn’t published this day yet” are very different answers, and guessing between them is worse than saying which one it is.
Search Any Bus Number
If you already know your bus, you shouldn’t have to find a stop on the map first. Type “30” or “30N” into the search bar and the route comes up at the top of the results, above places — both directions, each on its own line.
Tap it and the route opens at the stop nearest you, chosen automatically: the line drawn on the map, live buses moving along it, the next arrivals, and the timetable one tap away.
Save a Timetable to Favourites
The board you check every morning is now one tap from the map: save any bus timetable to your favourites, alongside your saved stops and places.

Prefer to check on a laptop? Every route has its own page with the same schedule — for example the Bus 30 Limassol timetable and Bus 30N, or browse all routes by city: Limassol · Nicosia · Larnaca · Paphos · Ayia Napa · Intercity.
Smaller Things
- Route cards now label departures that aren’t today — an evening “07:50” no longer reads as this morning. Handy for routes that only run on weekends.
- The favourites list scrolls properly when it gets long.
- Search tells you when nothing matched, instead of showing an empty screen.
